Tires

Tires should be replaced under the following conditions:

Wear and tear of the perimeter, until the tread reaches 2 mm or less (the legal limit is 1.6 mm).
Irreparable damage (claimable under insurance only In the event that another part of the car is damaged at the same time).
Change from summer to winter tires and vice versa (if the car is equipped with winter tires).

NOTE: Flat tires need to be repaired without delay (best on the day of damage). Seasonal tires have to be changed no later than on December 1 for winter and no later than April 30 for summer.

Authorized tire service workshops

Business Lease cooperates with the contracted network of BARUM CONTINENTAL tire workshops throughout the Czech Republic, as well as individual brand service workshops. The list of tire servicing facilities is usually included in the Driver‘s Set.

Ordering service tasks

Arrange the date and time for delivering the car for servicing by phone. Most tire servicing facilities allow virtually immediate delivery of cars.

A completed “Order Sheet – Maintenance and Repairs” must be presented when delivering a car for servicing. The depth of the tread pattern on the replaced (usually) damaged tire must be recorded when completing a job card.

When changing seasonal tires, tire workshop stores tires that are not being used at the moment. If you decide to take advantage of this service, tire workshop will provide you upon request with a “Storage protocol”. This must be filled in and one copy given to the workshop and the original kept in case of further need of tire changes.
