Regular maintenance

Car maintenance intervals determined by the manufacturer are listed in the manufacturer’s documentation provided to users when handing over cars. These intervals are typically specified in the servicing logbook (in some cases also in the manual). Regular servicing inspections take a few hours.

The prescribed maintenance intervals must be adhered to at all times in order to ensure proper functioning of the car and facilitate the use of potential guarantee and subsequent ex gratia settlement (the manufacturer’s contribution to the cost of a repair). The permissible variation is plus/minus 1,000 km. All servicing tasks must be carried out exclusively in an authorised dealer network of the relevant brand.

Dates and times of delivering cars for servicing must be arranged with a selected dealer sufficiently in advance. Arranged dates must be observed to minimize the possibility of subsequent misunderstandings.

The “Order Sheet – Maintenance and Repairs” form duly completed and the servicing logbook must be presented when delivering cars for servicing. When accepting orders, dealers are obliged to determine the estimated price for the relevant service tasks and the anticipated time of completion. This estimated date and price must be specified in the relevant job card provided to the car users in a copy.

Cars must be picked up on the date and time specified in the job card or based on notification by phone (if agreed with the relevant dealer).
